Position Summary

UICCU is now taking applications for a Maintenance Logistics Specialist II. This position requires an analytical, accurate, perfectionist, who enjoys doing the "little things" that are required to make a company successful. This individual will perform all mail, light clerical, and maintenance duties, as well as general electrical and plumbing duties. UICCU will provide full training, and will provide strong leadership that will reward your loyalty and accuracy.

 

Salary Range: $12.49 - $18.74

Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include, but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change:

 

  1. Adheres to the Credit Union's core values in serving with truth, trust, mentoring, openness, risk-taking, communication, giving credit, integrity, caring, and respect in carrying out the UICCU's mission and vision.
  2. Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times, greeting members and guests with a smile and eye contact immediately upon their arrival, using their name or acknowledging them, and thanking them for their business.
  3. Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.  
  4. Ensures confidentiality of member information.
  5. Performs any and all duties of the Maintenance Logistics Specialist along with duties in general electrical and plumbing work.
  6. Responds to error notifications regarding HVAC, electrical, and alarm systems.
  7. Performs basic troubleshooting and diagnosis of HVAC, electrical, and alarm systems.
  8. Picks up mail from post office on a daily basis for sorting by Financial Center receptionist.
  9. Distributes mail to appropriate staff and office locations in a timely manner. Gathers and processes outgoing mail.
  10. Prepares mail for pickup by postal service.
  11. Completes daily mail for pick up time and drops additional mailings to the nearest Post Box by the end of scheduled day.  Time sensitive mailings will be addressed on an individual basis and must receive notification of such by 2:00pm.
  12. Picks up outside debris around exterior of assigned office (i.e. parking lot, lawn) on a daily or weekly basis.
  13. Ensures adequate supply levels are maintained for offices and approves branch supply person’s orders. Transports supplies for Credit Union offices as needed.
  14. Cleans ATM/Drive-up units at assigned offices. Gathers and transports trash and discarded materials to landfill as needed.
  15. Gathers and transports recyclable articles to Recycling Center as needed.
  16. Performs miscellaneous errands for staff as needed.
  17. Prepares rooms for meetings as needed.
  18. Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in Credit Union sponsored events on an annual basis.
  19. Assists with the organization, transportation, set-up, and clean-up for community events and SEG events.
  20. Utilizes company vehicle for hauling of supplies, etc., when available.
  21. Assists in unloading and storage of incoming supplies and materials.
  22. Supports Lobby Reception desk at Financial Center as needed.

Job Requirements/Expectations

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) along with documented completion of a specialized course of study at a trade school or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
  2. One to three years of experience in a facilities or maintenance position.
  3. Must possess a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and be able to travel to all locations as necessary.
  4. Must furnish reliable vehicle with auto liability insurance in force at all times and provide proof of such.
  5. Must be a self motivated, responsible individual who can work independently of others.
  6. Must be competent in the Microsoft Office suite of products and possess the ability to learn additional software as needed.
  7. Must be able to adjust to changing priorities on a daily basis as needed.
  8. Experience exhibiting general mechanical aptitude and basic system trouble shooting skills with documented experience in general electrical and plumbing principals. 
  9. Is capable of completing various projects and assist others.
  10. Will require travel to any branch site via company or personal vehicle.
  11. Work overtime as needed to support the needs of the organization.
  12. Must be in general good health and physical condition.
  13. Must be able to climb a 12 foot ladder and be able to lift 50 pounds.
  14. Reports to work punctually, works all scheduled hours, and works overtime as necessitated by business demand.
  15. Must be able to communicate effectively.
  16. Must be bondable.

Reporting Relationship

Reports to Maintenance Logistics Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position is not responsible for the supervision of other employees.
