Position Summary

UICCU is now taking applications for a Maintenance Logistics Specialist. We are looking for someone who is precise, accurate, and analytical to handle all facets of their work without letting the details slip through the cracks. This person will be responsible for mail, light clerical, and maintenance duties at all UICCU locations as needed. UICCU will provide full training, as well as strong leadership that will reward your loyalty and accuracy.

 

Pay range: $11.64 - $17.46

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include, but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change:

 

  1. Adheres to the Credit Union's core values in serving with truth, trust, mentoring, openness, risk-taking, communication, giving credit, integrity, caring, and respect in carrying out the UICCU's mission and vision.
  2. Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times, greeting members and guests with a smile and eye contact immediately upon their arrival, using their name or acknowledging them, and thanking them for their business.
  3. Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.  
  4. Ensures confidentiality of member information.
  5. Picks up mail from post office on a daily basis.
  6. Sorts and distributes mail to appropriate staff and office locations in a timely manner. Gathers outgoing mail and processes. Stamp postage when necessary.
  7. Completes daily mail for pick up time and drops additional mailings to the nearest Post Box by the end of scheduled day.  Time sensitive mailings will be addressed on an individual basis and must receive notification of such by 2:00pm.
  8. Picks up outside debris around exterior of assigned office (i.e. parking lot, lawn) on a daily basis.
  9. Responsible for routine maintenance of offices, which includes, but is not limited to; changing light bulbs, install and/or move office equipment, basic plumbing, shovel and salt sidewalks as necessary, general cleaning, and equipment maintenance.
  10. Ensures adequate supply levels are maintained for offices and approves branch supply person’s orders. Transports supplies for Credit Union offices as needed.
  11. Performs maintenance PM’s as scheduled.
  12. Cleans ATM/Drive-up units at assigned offices.
  13. Gathers and transports trash to landfill as needed.
  14. Gathers and transports recyclable articles to City Carton as needed.
  15. Performs miscellaneous errands for staff as needed.
  16. Prepares rooms for meetings as needed.
  17. Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in Credit Union sponsored events on an annual basis.
  18. Works closely with Business Development and Public Relations.  Assists with the organization, transportation, set-up and clean-up for community events and SEG events.
  19. Utilizes company vehicle for hauling of supplies, etc., when available.
  20. Assists in unloading and storage of incoming supplies and materials.
  21. Supports Lobby Reception desk at Financial Center as needed.

Job Requirements/Expectations

  1. Must possess a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and be able to travel to all locations as necessary.
  2. Must furnish reliable vehicle with auto liability insurance in force at all times and provide proof of such.
  3. Must be competent in the Microsoft Office suite of products and possess the ability to learn additional software as needed.
  4. Must possess basic mechanical aptitude.
  5. Must be a self motivated, responsible individual who can work independently of others.
  6. Must be able and willing to work occasional OT as needed.
  7. Must be in general good health and physical condition.
  8. Must be able to climb a 10 foot ladder and be able to lift 50 pounds.
  9. Reports to work punctually, works all scheduled hours, and works overtime as necessitated by business demand
  10. Must be able to communicate effectively.
  11. Must be bondable.

Reporting Relationship

Reports to Maintenance Logistics Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position is not responsible for the supervision of other employees.
