The position is responsible for the Enterprise Risk Management program of the Credit Union. POSITION SUMMARY:
Analyzes all accounts prior to charge off to ensure that all efforts have been exhausted and due diligence complete in the collection of the debt mitigating loss for the business. Approves or recommends all accounts each month for those accounts deemed uncollectable that meet the qualifications for charge off outlined in our company policy. GREENSTATE INTERNSHIPS:
GreenState Credit Union's internship opportunity will immerse you into GreenState's fun and fast paced environment! As a valuable member of our team, you will provide direct support to your assigned team by owning the outcome for a variety of projects. We want your internship to be educational, meaningful, and exciting! As an intern, you will gain a better understanding of the roles in your department and be well prepared for work in the financial industry in the future. You will also have opportunities to work with GreenState members, other departments, and staff.
The Retail Processing Intern will focus on a various tasks that will provide insight and support the department such as, job shadowing, administrative tasks, and attending departmental meetings.
This is a paid 12-week internship, with a wage of $15.00/hr. Program dates will be May 20th - August 9th.

Responsible for coaching, monitoring, and supporting Account Resolution Staff in the effective execution of their duties and assignments. Responsible for ensuring all state, federal and credit union regulations, policies, and guidelines are met. Responsible for escalations, both internal and external, assisting with complex issues. Responsible for assisting in the overall management of the Account Resolutions Department and supports efforts to meet established department goals and minimize operational losses. This position will work closely with Account Resolution Management to develop staff and assist in goal setting and manage staff performance. Position will work to increase department productivity and profitability through active monitoring of accuracy, consistency of process and continuous process improvement.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience and/or expertise in one of the following areas: Collateral Management, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Regulatory Requirements (Fannie Mae servicing strongly preferred), or Loss Mitigation. This position is onsite at our headquarters in North Liberty, IA with the potential for up to two days working from home after a minimum of six months in the role for eligible staff.
